Tracy Baum, FNP FAARFM
As a family nurse practitioner I can care for your entire family, newborns to elders. I believe in a partnership with the patient to craft an individualized plan for wellness and chronic conditions. This can be accomplished using both conventional medicine and evidenced-based complementary therapies, using the options that will work best for each patient. This type of approach includes the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual aspects of each individual.
Your Hometown Clinic
Your hometown clinic provides the usual family practice services: well woman, well child, routine physicals, prenatal care, DOT physicals, medication renewals, sick visits, suturing, injuries, chronic condition management. I also offer you a choice on how you want to manage your health: the traditional approach or a blend of traditional and integrative care.
We have in house lab tests along with Labcorp, and St John's Medical Center lab ready to handle your blood testing needs and also offer advanced testing for various issues. Health Fair labs are also now available year round at your request.
Integrative Medicine is a specialty that blends various options to bring the 'best' of different approaches together for the best results. It may include recommendations for nutritional or herbal supplements, chiropractic care, acupuncture, stress management or others. One important area focuses on the root cause of illness, rather than just treating the symptoms.
Integrative Medicine practitioners spend significant time with their patients, listening to their histories and looking at the interactions among genetic, environmental, and lifestyle factors that can influence long-term health and complex, chronic disease.
